Howard is best known for the stringer outfit he launched with his two brothers, RMG News, which is now one of the top sources for content in the news industry.  In addition to serving as a technical consultant on the film "Nightcrawler", he is an executive producer, creator and featured real-life character on the hit Netflix reality series profiling stringers, "Shot in the Dark".
